WineSpirit Spiritual Harvest Series Interviews
How wonderful it is to resume the WineSpirit Spiritual Harvest Series, my interviewing elders and sages of the wine world, most recently Jack Cakebread and yesterday, Mike Grgich. They are both amazing spirits. Yet, what made me laugh was seeing the Jan Shrem video of 2002 and a man who claims to be an agnostic speaking more openly and passionately about the Higher Power than anyone else. I also enjoyed the flash forward to Jack Cakebread when Jan said back then that if you can find work that doesn't feel like work, then you will never have to work a day of your life. It was wonderful hearing it from Jack 7 years later, on May 14. I am feeling giddy because revisiting Jan Shrem (as part of the editing process we are doing with that video) and enjoying every nugget he shared, I am inundated with memorable moments with amazing people, in particular, Jack and now Mike Grgich who shared his love and passion for life in the video visit yesterday. Hopefully we will find the funding to accelerate the editing (which is more costly than the initial filming, with the involvement of b footage, as well.).
Meanwhile, I am excited about the stage coach delivery coming Wednesday of the first shipment of Sippin' books for local distribution. To this point, the only hard cover I have is the initial flawed one. I am enjoying the increasing number of inquiries to set various varieties of Sippin' parties. Let me know if you would like one.
